16 ga Copper. Bottom dimension is od 8” (204 mm) to fit id 8” Funnel section. Top dimension is id 7” (178mm) to fit internal Funnel section, allowing air space. These were previously supplied in Brass, but because brass polish products contain ammonia, cracking sometimes occurred from “ammoniacal attack;” thus the switch to copper material. For “brass color,” gold plating is surprisingly cheap—and polishing is not needed!
